Ilayda Ozbilgin

Ilayda Ozbilgin is currently pursuing a double major in Psychology and Dance: Choreography & Performance Studies at Saint Mary's College of California. She completed her clinical internship at Saint Mary’s College of California Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), where she contributed to counseling processes and student support initiatives. Ilayda also served as an assistant at the 2025 Western California Undergraduate Psychology Research Conference (WPCUR), gained experience as an intern blog writer in Aviation Psychology, and volunteers with Make-A-Wish Turkiye, supporting children battling serious illnesses. With a particular interest in psychopathology, clinical psychology, and neuropsychology, Ilayda aims to combine her academic background with creativity to develop compassion-based clinical psychology practices informed by scientific innovation.
